Managing Foreign Exchange through Hedge Accounting’, an insightful session on Forex Market organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) has scheduled an insightful session on the Forex Market titled, ‘Managing Foreign Exchange through Hedge Accounting’ on Friday, 4th October 2024, from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium. 

Guest speaker of the session would be Mr. Rajith Perera, Partner at EY and the Financial Services Risk Management Leader in Sri Lanka, a passionate advocate for sharing knowledge on the importance of managing Forex.  Rajith will be sharing vital insights on the topic through his many years of experience and understanding the characteristics of the forex market as it is crucial for the success of any organization.  

Key learning outcomes of the session would be focusing on how financials will impact Foreign Exchange volatilities, Managing Foreign Exchange Risks, Balance sheet Management, Devising Hedge Instruments for managing the risk, Application of Hedge Accounting and the minimum requirements to apply hedge accounting. 

An audience of participants who are interested in learning about Foreign Exchange Market Behaviour and particularly representing the business sector which is impacted and exposed to the risk of foreign exchange management, Entrepreneurs, and professionals are expected to attend the program.  

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka invites interested participants to register for this insightful session.
