Mahindananda nominated Ranjith to the chair of the COPE seconded by Rohitha Abeygunawardena! Committee to probe into theft!

Mahindananda Aluthgamage has today nominated Ranjith Bandara Member of Parliament for Pohottuwa for the position of Chairman of the COPE Committee which investigates fraud and corruption in public institutions.

It is confirmed by Mr. Rohitha Abeygunawardena.

Accordingly, Mr. Ranjith Bandara got 14 votes and Mr. Iran Wickramaratne got only 7 votes.
