Mahinda outlines the government how new ministers should be appointed and warns the media to act responsibly to avoid regulations  I Sri Lana Latest News

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna leader former President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that it would be a good thing if the MPs who contested from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and were the first in the districts to be given cabinet minister positions.

The former president also said that the media channels should take care to act in such a way that it is not possible to bring regulation for the media channels.

The former president also said that there are still partisans with his party and that the country’s economy will be strengthened in the future.

The former president made these comments while speaking to the media yesterday (June 1) after worshiping the Anuradhapura Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi.
