Mahela modified Sri Lanka’s plan says. Pramodays Wickramasinghe, who is the head of the Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee, further more he said that Mahela Jayawardena was a big part of how Sri Lanka changed its game plan during the Asia Cup.
“Mahela was a big part of that change,” he said. “Even when we lost wickets, we kept moving the game forward.”
He also said that the current Sri Lankan national team’s strategies are made by head coach Chris Silverwood and consultant coach Mahela Jayawardena.
Wickramasinghe told a local news station that Mahela Jayawardena will also be part of the team at the T20 World Cup.
