Mahawa corporative society elects JVP

The JVP has managed to win 62% of the total number of seats in the voting held to elect members for the Mahava Multipurpose Cooperative Society.

Janatha Vimukti Peramuna has confirmed its power in this poll held in 30 localities belonging to various services cooperative association.

Here, the Janatha Vimukti Peramuna has sixty two (62) seats, the Podujana Peramuna has ten (16) seats, the United People’s Force has almost fourteen (14) seats and the independent group has nine (9) seats.

One hundred members will be elected for thirty (30) localities of Mahava Cooperative, and it is also notable that all the members who ran for 13 of the 30 localities held in the polls were elected from Janata Vimukti Peramuna.
