A person from Kegalle area has accused two major television channels in Sri Lanka of using his image as the person who died in the shooting that took place in Thalangama, Battaramulla on Friday (25).Sri Lanka Latest News
The person named Janaka Pushpakumara says that he informed both Hiru-Swarnavahini channels in this regard, but the post has not been removed by Saturday (26) evening. He said that he once again lodged a complaint with the police regarding the incident.
The man further said that the news channels took a photo from his Facebook account and posted it as the shooting victim without any confirmation.
