Following a revelation made by Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian S. M. Marikkar during a press briefing convened by him about a ‘Mega gas fraud,’ the Chairman Cope committee Dr. Charitha Herath acted quickly and decided to call a special cope meeting.
Dr. Herath issued this summons in response to Mr. Marikkar’s letter requesting that the chairman of the cope committee summon the chairman of Litro and question him about the gas fraud.
As a result, the cope committee will meet next Tuesday at 2 p.m.
