Mr. Ranjith Bandara, chairman of the COPE Committee, has put aside the audit reports that include essential and important topics and brought forward the remaining matters; said SJB Member of Parliament Mr. S.M. Marikkar making another allegation today.

He pointed out that on 30-06-2002 he presented the first proposal regarding the purchase of Litro Gas, then again on 26-10-2022, he requested to call Litro Gas and Oil Corporation before the CORP Committee, but it has not been discussed yet.

Also, the MP pointed out that despite a written request to convene the relevant institutions to discuss the organic fertilizer fraud of 6.9 million dollars on 2023-07-23, it has not been fulfilled so far.

Mr Marikkar tabled all the 3 related letters.
