Life threats! Mullaitivu District Judge resigns!  The letter  sent to the Judicial Service Commission! I Sri Lanka Latest News

Mullaitivu District Judge T. Saravanaraja has announced that he has decided to resign from his judicial positions due to the threats to his life and severe mental stress. Sri Lanka Latest News

His resignation letter was sent to the Secretary of the Judicial Service Commission on September 23.

According to the letter, he has resigned from the post of District Judge, Magistrate, Family Court Judge, Primary Court Judge, Small Claims Court Judge and Juvenile Court Judge.

These threats and pressures reportedly stem mainly from his involvement in the controversial Kurunthimalai archaeological site cases.
