Legendary singer Christopher Paul has passed away.

He was 87 years old when he died.

Born on April 10, 1936 in Suduwella, Moratuwa, Christopher Paul was educated at Sebastian School.

In 1955, Paul studied music from Sunil Shantha, a veteran of the music world, and sang his first song in 1958 titled “Pena Vile Meda Olu Male” with his sister Bernadette Paul.

After that, Christopher Paul managed to become a singer who is remembered in people’s hearts by singing many songs based on western melodies.
