As electricity charges have been reduced since last July 16, this revision of water charges has been done keeping in mind the reduction in cost of fuel, chemicals and interest costs etc.
Accordingly, the Cabinet has approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure to revise the water tariff as follows.
