The Lankadeepa newspaper, which published various false and creative news aimed to postpone the elections for the past few weeks, in a big crisis due to a false news published on its front page.
False news was published mentioning the name of the current mayor Mr. Shanta Premalal in a fraud that happened during the time of the former mayor of Kotte, Mr. Janaka Ranawaka.
