Peradeniya Teaching Hospital, Nuwara Eliya Hospital, Ragama Teaching Hospital, Colombo National Eye Hospital, Panadura Basic Hospital, Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, Kuliapitiya Hospital have lost a large number of lives and looking at this list, it has been confirmed that inferior drugs and frauds in the pharmaceutical industry are inappropriate. Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, said that a catastrophic situation has arisen due to the use of drugs.

Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said this today (18) in the Parliament under Standing Order 27 (2) by submitting questions to the Minister of Health.

There, the opposition leader presented many questions to the health minister and the government and asked for solutions to these problems.

The opposition leader said that the government conducts false investigations on government officials who reveal such problems and issues to the people and defeats the following health policy which shuts the mouths of the health sector officials and leads 220 lakh people to the deathbed.

The opposition leader further said here that these killings are deliberate crimes and all those who are responsible will be punished under a government of united people.
