The former deputy Chairman of the Katana pradeshiya saba has been murdered mysteriously.
Peter Hapuarachchi, the former vice-chairman was found by the Vanathavilluwa police while he was mysteriously murdered in a guardhouse of an estate owned by him in the Vanathavilluwa area.
Mr. Peter Hapuarachchi, a father of three, was 76 years old when he died and he is also a former school principal.
Vanathavilluwa Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
