When asked about this, a senior officer of the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital said that one of the two doctors in the pediatric cardiac catheterization unit left the country and went abroad and the other doctor has now left for training.
The parents of the patients request the relevant authorities to appoint a doctor for the pediatric cardiac catheterization unit of the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital to curb this situation.
