Joining a television discussion, he said that there is an opinion in the society that he should be nominated for the presidential election.
He said that there are currently two camps in politics, the party camp and the opposition camp, and no matter how many candidates are appointed from the opposition camp, they are all one camp.
Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake further said that the Janata Vimukthi Peramuna is a camp of a different current.
However, since the year 2000, the Janata Vimukti Peramuna led by Anura Kumara Dissanayake has been participating in the elections from time to time, with alliances in the Ranil Wickramasinghe camp of the Mahinda Rajapaksa camp.
