Journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrama has been summoned to the Colombo Criminal Investigation Division (CID) for the second time tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. This summons is in connection with a statement made by an individual named Asela Nuwan Rajapaksa on the “Truth with Chamuditha” YouTube channel, alleging that the Cardinal had prior knowledge of the Easter attacks.
Chamuditha was previously summoned to the CID approximately two weeks ago regarding the same matter.
Meanwhile, social activists Namal Kumara and Asela Nuwan Rajapaksa have been arrested in connection with the incident.
It is noteworthy that this is the first time Chamuditha Samarawickrama has been summoned twice in relation to the same incident during his career.
