It is reported that Jerome Fernando, who made controversial statements, has gone to the United Kingdom from Singapore amid investigations related to several allegations including money laundering. Sri Lanka Latest News
According to a post on Jerome Fernando’s Instagram page, he will be holding a service in the UK.
“Pastor Jerome Fernando will be ministering in the United Kingdom for three days from July 06 on Thursdays,” the note said.
He fled to Singapore last May 16 as the Criminal Investigation Department began an investigation into his controversial statements against Buddhism, Islam and Hinduism.
Subsequently, Jerome Fernando apologized via a live video on May 21 for any harm caused to Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam by his remarks.
After that he did not come to Sri Lanka, but his wife and children came to Sri Lanka from Singapore on June 2nd.
