Accordingly, the Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning for the western coastal regions of Ishikawa, Niigata and Toyama.
According to the weather agency, the tsunami, which is up to 5 meters high, is believed to reach Noto in Ishikawa Prefecture.
It is said that the buildings in the surrounding area of the Tokyo capital began to sway with the tremor. No casualties have been reported so far.
