Accordingly, the Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning for the western coastal regions of Ishikawa, Niigata and Toyama.
According to the weather agency, the tsunami, which is up to 5 meters high, is believed to reach Noto in Ishikawa Prefecture.
