The chairman of the public utilities commission, Mr. Janaka Ratnayake, has reportedly returned to Sri Lanka after spending time abroad.
According to reports, Mr. Ratnayaka arrived at his office today but was unable to go inside because it was sealed.
However, it has come to light that he has made the decision to bring a legal action against the rising cost of electricity, which is oppressing the vast majority of the populace.
He has reportedly decided to pay for the work out of his own pocket, according to information.
