The Thai Pongal festival celebrated by the Hindu people with great pride was held at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition in Colombo. It was headed by Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition.
The leader of the opposition said that the Thai Pongal festival can be known as a unique festival that demonstrates to the world the value of being grateful in harmony with nature.
