It is critical to maintain the reform momentum with strong ownership from authorities and the Sri Lankan people broadly – IMF delegation

Dr. Harsha de Silva said that in order to develop the country with the support of the International Monetary Fund, it is stated in the relevant agreement that a government with the mandate of the people should be established.

He also pointed out that the financial fund has presented 2 conditions that must be fulfilled before going to such a mandate.

He pointed out that one of them is the restructuring of local debt.
