The Mawrata newspaper has reliably learned that investigations into several large-scale fraud and corruption cases allegedly linked to a powerful ministry during the previous administration have reached their final stages.

According to sources, preparations are underway to arrest a former influential minister in connection with these allegations.

Following the current government’s assumption of power, numerous complaints were lodged regarding questionable activities within the ministry. These complaints were subsequently referred to the appropriate investigative authorities for further examination.

Over the past two months, investigators have reportedly gathered substantial evidence during their inquiries. With the investigations now nearing completion, efforts are actively being made to take legal action against the former minister implicated in these corrupt dealings.

Sources indicate that the arrest is expected to occur in the near future, marking a significant step in addressing the alleged misconduct.
