Accordingly, the foreign media reported that the ‘Aditya L One’ aircraft produced for that operation was launched from the Sriharikota center at 11:50 am today (02) Indian time.
The spacecraft will be positioned at a distance of 1.5 million kilometers from the Earth and will perform its solar mission.
The distance is one percent of the distance between the Earth and the Sun and it will take four months to travel that distance, according to the Indian Space Agency.
It is said that 378 crores of Indian rupees have been spent for the Aditya L One solar mission, which started production in 2008.
