On Friday, India achieved a significant milestone with the successful launch of the Agni-4 Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha. This test, overseen by the Strategic Forces Command, effectively validated all operational and technical parameters of the missile.
Earlier this year, in April, India had also successfully tested the next-generation Agni-Prime ballistic missile, which has a strike range of 1,000 to 2,000 kilometers. This test was conducted from Abdul Kalam Island, located off the coast of Odisha.
