In protest of Thondaman, all the main Tamil parties in the plantations, including SJB, boycotted the ‘Nam 200’ event! I Sri Lanka Latest News

On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the arrival of the hilly Tamil people to Sri Lanka, the main opposition in Sri Lanka as well as the main political parties in Kadukhara have taken steps to boycott the “Naam 200” (We are 200) celebration held at Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo this afternoon (02).ri Lanka Latest News

These political parties have taken steps to boycott the event, alleging that the organization of the event has been done only in such a way as to enhance the political image of the Ceylon Labor Congress, Minister Jeevan Thondaman.

Accordingly, the Samagi Jana Balavega, which was the main opposition, and the main Tamil political leaders of the plantation, Palani Digambaram-Mano Ganesan-V. The Tamil Progressive Alliance led by MP Radhakrishnan was not present at the event.

Indian Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Seethiraman participated as the chief guest in this event.
