According to Reuters, the IMF’s credit for Sri Lanka is in jeopardy. Although the International Monetary Fund has informed Sri Lanka to restructure its debt, Reuters has reported that it is dependent on China’s willingness to restructure its debt.
Currently, Zambia has also requested China to restructure its debt.
Reuters has pointed out that a challenge has arisen to Sri Lanka’s debt restructuring due to this.
