Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, head of the International Monetary Fund, is planning to visit India in the near future.
Reports indicate that Ms. Georgieva, who is coming to India for a 2-day visit. She is also scheduled to hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It is said that there will be a long discussion. Talks are regarding the economic crisis in South Asia as well as in Sri Lanka.
The officials from the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka were summoned to India for those discussions.
