A series of sophisticated ‘hypersonic’ missile attacks launched by Iran in the middle of last night (April 02) and early this morning (April 03) have reportedly caused extensive damage to the central regions of Israel, including the capital, Tel Aviv.
Several of these missiles were able to bypass Israel’s ‘Iron Dome’ and ‘Arrow’ air defense systems, striking directly in central Tel Aviv and other densely populated areas.
The attacks were carried out shortly after US President Donald Trump concluded his War Address, with local residents reporting that the powerful explosions were heard from miles away.
Iran is suspected to have deployed high-speed missiles such as the Fattah, along with destructive cluster bombs, during the assault. Multiple buildings in Tel Aviv sustained damage, while widespread power outages and communication disruptions were reported across the city.
Security analysts have described this as the deadliest attack targeting Tel Aviv since the war began in 2026.
