The police say that a person who was coming for a case, his wife and three children who were travelling on the road were attacked with acid.
The police say that the acid attack was carried out on the main respondent of a fatal car accident that took place in the new city of Ratnapura on April 23, 2023.
The attack took place when he was coming to appear for the case. Ratnapura Police has arrested the father of the youth who died in the car accident on suspicion of having carried out the acid attack.
