The current government has lowered the age limit for girls to have sexual relations from 16 to 14 and has loosened the penalties for those who rape girls under the age of 22. Thus far, Samagi Jana Balavega has worked to end several tragedies that befall people both inside and outside the parliament. The opposition leader stated that despite the government’s preparations to deny the special opportunity granted to both male and female rape, which is to deprive the most vulnerable women of corruption, the government was forced to back down because only Samagi Jana Balawega voiced concerns about this in parliament and elsewhere. Sri Lanka Latest News

He was made fun of in 2019 for discussing women’s hygiene, but he persisted in doing so for five years. As a result of disclosing the truth to the nation, the government gave schoolgirls free sanitary pads despite the booing, jeers, and insults he received on social media while speaking about it in Parliament. The opposition leader, Mr Sajith Premadasa, stated that the Samagi Jana Balawegaya has completed work that no other party has and that it has been decided to give.

Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, said this today (6) while joining the people’s wall program in Hiriyala Constituency held in Kurunegala Hiripitiya town.

A program to obtain people’s views through the concept of Grama Rajya

The idea of Grama Nagar Raj was introduced by Samagi Jana Balawega, who also put policies into place that prioritised information data flowing from the bottom up and made the people of the nation the primary participants, stakeholders, leaders, and vanguards of the nation’s governance system. The leader said.

The current administration is attempting to eradicate farmers from the face of the planet rather than preserving their way of life.

Once upon a time, farmers were denied access to fertiliser, which led to the destruction of farming. This practice continues today as the government’s policy is to eradicate farmers rather than provide them with a living wage. The Batalegoda Agricultural Research Institute found that using both chemical and organic fertilisers can yield the highest yield from paddy cultivation after 11 years of research spanning 22 seasons. The opposition leader claimed that the Gotabhaya Rajapakse government disregarded the test results, outlawed chemical fertilisers on its initiative, and switched to organic farming, claiming that agriculture had collapsed. The rulers had been informed that if only organic fertilisers were used, the yield could decrease from 21% to 31%.

Alternative forces have no idea how to recover agriculture

The opposition leader said that at a time when agriculture has collapsed, none of the alternative forces have been able to recover this agriculture and said that more productivity can be achieved by using the existing land effectively and using new agricultural techniques.

Education and farming should go hand in hand

Education as well as farming should be friendly and should not be enslaved to the conservative methods that have always been followed. Through new technology, the agricultural products of the country should be directed not only to the local food needs but also to export agriculture and for that new technology can be used. The opposition leader also said that a system that can go to the market should be prepared.

Long live citizens

As the leader of the opposition pointed out, “the people of our country have been the king’s slaves for a long time. Long live your majesty, but in a government of united people, long live the people, and we will work to increase the people’s life expectancy.”

A million small and medium-sized business owners are born.

At a time when half of the nation is struggling with poverty, we will produce a million new micro, small, and medium-sized business owners in our nation, along with the facilities, funds, and even financial institutions required for them. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, stated this
