Tamil political parties have decided to implement a hartal campaign in the North-Eastern provinces based on several demands including the withdrawal of the proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill.
Former Member of Parliament Suresh Premachandra claims that the hartal campaign will be launched on the 25th when the draft is submitted to the Parliament.
In this regard, a discussion was held yesterday in Jaffna with the participation of the representatives of the political parties in those provinces.
Representatives of Ilangei Tamil Arasu Party, PLOT, Telo and EPRLF participated in the discussion.
