A vote was held in Parliament today (06) for the second reading of the Sri Lanka Electricity Bill. Sri Lanka Latest News

There were 103 votes in favour of the bill and 59 votes against.

Accordingly, the Speaker informed the Parliament that the second reading of the Sri Lanka Electricity Bill was passed with a majority of 44 votes.

After that, the work of the committee started.
