The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has issued a firm demand for the government to release the revised circular concerning the reduction of additional duties and leave allowances for doctors within one week.
The association has warned that failure to address the matter within the stipulated time frame will result in trade union action.
This decision was made by the executive committee of the GMOA during a meeting held yesterday, according to GMOA spokesperson Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe.
