On Women’s Day this year, when Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, went to Colombo Castle Hospital to donate an incubator machine, the hospital authorities also took to show an ultrasound machine donated by the leader of the opposition during the 2021 Corona season. The doctors said that more than 2 lakh mothers have received treatment from this machine.

It is more important for me to benefit two lakh mothers than two lakh votes

If something good is done to the children and mothers of our country with these devices, it is enough. When I went to see the ultrasound scanner that was donated to Castle Hospital in 2021, I came to know that it has benefited two lakh mothers. The opposition leader added that he is happy to be able to arrange.
