GCE A/L Exams for 27 and 28 Postponed Due to Islandwide Adverse Weather

The Commissioner General of Examinations, Mrs. Indika Liyanage, has announced that the GCE Advanced Level examination scheduled for today (27) and tomorrow (28) will not be held. Sri Lanka Latest News

Issuing a special statement, the Commissioner General stated that this decision was taken due to the disaster situation prevailing across the island as a result of adverse weather conditions.

Candidates will be informed of the new examination dates in due course.

In addition, a statement has been issued to all Provincial Directors of Education, Zonal Directors of Education, Officers in Charge of Regional Collection Centers, Coordinating Officers, and Headmasters, instructing them to pay special attention to the security of the question papers at the examination coordination centers.
