Three people, including an army major, have died in a motor vehicle accident in Galgamuwa.
The police stated that last night (17th) the car they were traveling in ran off the road and hit a tree.
The police said that the deceased in the accident were an army major working in Saliyapura army camp and two of his relatives.
Two others who were injured in the accident are receiving treatment at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
