One shipment of Petrol has arrived in the country and is currently undergoing quality testing; unloading will begin tomorrow (21), according to Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera.

He stated that Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL) will begin train and truck deliveries to remote depots tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the unloading of the two diesel freighters has been completed at the Colombo ports, and the unloading of another tanker freighter is currently underway at the harbour.

Furthermore, the Minister stated that the Ministry of the National Youth Corps (NYC) and its members have volunteered to help with the National Fuel Pass initiative.
