Four officers of the Kelaniya Division Criminal Investigation Bureau, who surrendered to the court in connection with an alleged incident of stealing US dollars and gold items from returnees from India, have been remanded until the 28th.
That is according to an order given today (14) by Colombo Additional Magistrate Mr. Harshana Kekunawala.
A sub-inspector, a police sergeant and two police constables of the Kelaniya Division Criminal Investigation Bureau were thus remanded.
They will be presented at an identification parade in the future.
