Mr. Sarath Fonseka met the President after President Ranil Wickremesinghe presented his manifesto at the beginning of the new session of the Parliament and the two discussed for about an hour. No one else was present at the event and what was discussed was not disclosed.
In addition to this, another group of MPs of the Samagi Jana Balawega also met the President in Parliament yesterday.
