Former Chief of the State Intelligence Service (SIS), retired Army Major General Suresh Saleh, has filed a Fundamental Rights petition before the Supreme Court, challenging his arrest and detention under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).
The petition has been filed by a retired officer of the Sri Lanka Air Force, and the Minister of Defence, along with several others, have been named as respondents in the case.
