Former Presidential Secretary Saman Ekanayake has been summoned to appear before the Special Investigation Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) tomorrow, Monday, September 1, according to Sri Lanka Latest News.
He is expected to record a statement in connection with the investigation into former President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s controversial visit to London.
The CID had previously questioned Ekanayake regarding this incident.
