Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe paid £2,000 from government funds for a butler hired to attend to his needs during a two-day private visit to London with his wife, Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake revealed in Parliament.
Ratnayake further stated that legal action will be taken regarding this matter, as it constitutes a criminal offense.
