The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (26) ordered the release on bail of former Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage, who had been remanded in connection with the alleged importation of a substandard organic fertilizer shipment during the previous government.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali issued the bail order after reviewing the submissions made by both the Bribery Commission and the defense counsel.
