Former Minister Lohan Ratwatte has been admitted to the Welikada Prison Hospital for medical treatment. According to prison sources, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited him at approximately 11:00 pm on November 1st to inquire about his condition.
Ratwatte was initially admitted to the prison hospital around 10:00 pm on October 31st under a court order, as he reportedly requires ongoing medical supervision for multiple health issues.
The Mirihana Police recently arrested Ratwatte in Katugastota, discovering an unregistered vehicle at the residence of his wife, Rasipaba Ratwatte. Additionally, police have seized another luxury vehicle allegedly used by Ratwatte with a fraudulent number plate, which is currently under further investigation.
