Former Minister Johnston Fernando and Son Arrested by FCID Over Sathosa Lorry Misuse

Former Minister Johnston Fernando and his youngest son were arrested a short while ago by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID), Sri Lanka Latest News reports.

The former minister had appeared before the FCID to give a statement following a summons issued to him.

The Division has been conducting investigations into the alleged misuse of a lorry belonging to Sathosa, which reportedly caused a financial loss to the government.

This morning, Johnston Fernando was summoned to appear before the FCID in connection with the incident.
