The satyagraha launched by fishermen in front of the Presidential Secretariat entered its fifth consecutive day today (09).
Fishermen from Mullaitivu gathered at the site today, with reports indicating that approximately 1,000 people are currently participating in the protest.
The fishermen began this satyagraha demanding the removal of the ban on fishing using winches attached to tractors.
