Oluvil – In a disturbing incident at the Faculty of Engineering of Southeastern University, senior students have reportedly assaulted a group of first-year students, resulting in injuries to five individuals. Among those injured is a driver. All five have been admitted to the Oluvil District Hospital for medical treatment.
According to initial investigations, the attack occurred last night (14), and four of the injured are confirmed to be first-year students.
This incident follows a previous disciplinary action taken by the university authorities, where 22 students were suspended from attending classes in connection with the circulation of a fake news report within the university.
