The first official results of the 2025 Local Government Elections have been released, marking the beginning of the official vote count disclosures.
According to the Election Commission, the results for the Tangalle Municipal Council in the Hambantota District are as follows:
- National People’s Power – 2,260 votes
- United National Party – 1,397 votes
- Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna – 795 votes
This marks the initial phase of results being made public as counting continues across the country.
