A young man with ‘monkey fever’ (monkey pox) has died in the Indian state of Kerala, according to reports.
Kerala State Health Minister Veena George immediately ordered an investigation into the youth’s death. As a result, tissue samples from the deceased youth were sent for analysis.
According to the health department, this young man came to Kerala from abroad, and if he was infected with ‘monkey fever,’ it must have happened while he was travelling.
